Snow Day

Well things continue to progress. Cooper has been able to get up out of bed to go to the bathroom - inspite of being on some really heavy duty pain med that keeps him rather out of it.

They plan to adjust that some to get him more awake today.

Still no word on the pathology report -hopefully this afternoon.

Enjoy the icy day - be careful if you venture out.

Love,
rsc

  4. We're so glad you were able to get up, Cooper! I don't think you should try to venture out on the slopes today, though. Keep hanging in there! SO MANY people are praying for you. Triway School is part of that group. You are a very loved young man! May God bless you and keep you and send His angels to watch over all of you.

PS-I asked Cody to watch over you. I'm sure he will.

  5. Hey! I'm super glad Coop is able to get up! Who? Wants to lay around all day? The long awaited snow day has come... but it isn't exactly snowy. That kind of stinks, but whatever. (Gives time for Spanish!) Well I'm anxious to find out the pathology report so I'll be logging on several times today. Cooper you owe me like a thousand hugs. ;) Again, can't wait for everyone to come home.
    All my love...

    Your friend,
    Sam

  6. I'm sorry I had trouble getting to this site, It's easy - when you know how.
It sounds like they have Cooper on a PCA pump - pt controlled anesthesia, which is a good thing for someone old enough to use it, which he is. We are all praying for Cooper, and we are keeping the youth group going until he gets back. The other parents are helping a lot.
Hopefully the cards we maded last week got to him, if not I'm sure our prayers did

  10. Cooper,it sounds good to hear you are getting out of bed a bit. Every step is one step closer to getting back to home and all of us at school. The slow day has allowed lots of time for thoughts and prayers for you. I wanted to send you a laugh since laughter is the next best medicine to prayer. A young boy was looking through an old family Bible with his mother. A pressed leaf that had been in the Bible for some time fell out of the pages onto the floor. The mom asked the boy what it was. The boy picked up the leaf and said, "I think it's Adam's underwear."
    Peace and Prayers,
    Mrs. Peterson
