Late Night Thought

You know the Verizon cell phone commercials? The ones where people go anywhere and there is this huge group of people - the support network?

That's how I feel.

Here we are so many miles from home, in this surreal tragic situation and yet We KNOW there is this huge, HUGE network of support people. It is overwhelming.

Words cannot express the gratitude we feel knowing how loved Cooper is.

Thank You,

ron

  1. I can't sleep. All I can do is think of you. I'm googling out of control. Searching for anything that I can do. Learning more, I guess makes me feel closer. I'm here for you, thats all I know. Prayers to you.

  3. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers. It hasn't stopped yet and it won't. Cooper, you are a special young man and I feel God has big plans for you! Ron and Sherry, although I haven't known this type of challenge, I do know that God and my dear friends continue to help me through my challenge. We will ALWAYS be here for you, just a phone call away. God's peace be with you. May God bless you and keep you and continue to send His angels to watch over you.
    Much love,

  4. Cooper, Sherry, and Ron, my heart is heavy for you today. I had hoped for a less rigorous treatment plan for Cooper as I know we all had. Today I will be praying my favorite scripture verse for you all "I know well the plans I have in mind for you says the Lord, plans for your welfare, not for woe! plans to give you a future full of hope!
    Love and Hope,
    Mrs. Peterson

  6. Ron, Sherry, Cooper:

The Wilkinson family continues to pray for you during this trying time. I've never had the opportunity to meet you Cooper, but I can tell you are a very special young man.
Given your track record thus far during recovery, we pray that you will respond as well to the future treatments.
Ron, if there is anything you need or anything we can do, please don't hesitate to let us know. It's only a couple of hours drive to get there, and I have contacts in the KC area should you need something.

    Regards,
    Paul

  9. Ron & Sherry -
I'm glad you feel us, because we sure are here and sending all our good thoughts your way. I don't comment much because any words feel very ineffective, but your blog is checked lots and has the top spot on my "favorites," and like others, I'm googling away this morning. Know that we love you and will do anything we can to help in any way.

  12. Ron Sherry and Coop,
Blake mentioned to me about one of Coopers surgeries. which immediately made my heart sink. I searched for my old cell for rons number without luck, but as you see found your blog. I wish i could find something in the scouts handbook, that could make sense out of all of this or even a tid bit of what to say to friends when the hearts are breaking. as i mentioned earlier my heart sank when i heard the news, but every day and every night know that my heart is full of prayers for each one of you. i am many miles away but please if i can be of any help give me a call or email.
