A Good Evening

The new pain med and pump set up seems to be working well. That's it for the medical update.

He has been awake for a couple of hours, eaten a little bit, and has watched TV - we are waiting now for George Lopez Show, Cooper's favorite. But I think he is not going to be able to stay awake.

It got cold here today, right now about 13 -brrrrrrrrrrrr

And it is snowing ****** (but no white out, Jay.)

a peaceful good night to all,

  1. Glad to hear Coop is improving. We are praying for you all day and when we wake up at night.

It is sleeting like crazy here in Owasso. Bet the kids don't have school tomorrow. Unless we send them to school on ice skates.

Audrey had her tonsils out on Thurs she is talking much because her throat is still pretty sore...wow is it quiet around here!!!

Max and Claire are off to bed. I better go tuck them in.

    Love you lots,
    the McGaugheys

  2. Hi,Guys! I am glad to hear Cooper is resting comfortably. I hope the whole family can rest tonight.
There were lots of prayers for you in church today. Everyone has you on their mind and in their heart!
Keep getting better, Cooper. The kids miss you and want you to come home. Everyone is just a little off without you.
    God Bless and Good Night!

  3. So glad to hear Cooper is out of PICU and has better pain control at his fingertips. Jonette said to tell you she is following the blog too, just hasn't been able to register. She wants you to know they are praying for you all. We MISS you all like crazy and are looking forward to having you home as soon as possible. We lift you up and ask God to bless you with strength, peace and wisdom. Most of all we pray for complete healing for Cooper.

  4. Hey, it's nasty outside. Probably a day tomorrow that Cooper won't miss school because there probably won't be any! Teresa Scheuerman filled us in this morning that Cooper is doing pretty well. We are so glad to hear good news, as I'm sure you are. We continue to "pray without ceasing". Love you all. Hang in there!
    Love,
    Becky

Yeah we do!!!! With Mr. W's paper as well as Spanish due. But that's okay. Plus, I've wanted a snow day since fall (who hasn't?) I was sick lately and I found out that coke helps your stomach. I wonder if Dr. Pepper does the same? Hey Coop you better get well as soon as possible because Sage and I don't have anyone to talk about waffles with!!!! ;) Also, yearbook is no fun. Sage, Kambry, and James couldn't get there computers to work last meeting so Shelby and I used the magic touch to fix them (Kambry and Sage's at least.) Well anyways we pray everyday, and can't wait to see everyone home.

    Love,
    Sam

    no school-Louis

  6. Hey, Vocelkas! I'm so proud I think I could cry--your favorite show is GEORGE LOPEZ???....That makes your Spanish--oh, wait, your FAVORITE Spanish Teacher so happy!!! While you're out of school, you just use that as your tutor! :)
Cooper, I'm hoping we're looking at the prospect of our first snow day tomorrow. We've got freezing rain/sleet coming down, and it's going to make the roads dangerous, I'm sure. It's so cold, and it's not supposed to warm up, so I don't see it getting any better. You know, I LOVE teaching and working with great kids such as yourself, but I have to be honest-
SNOW DAYS ROCK!!!! I won't bother to ask God for a snow day, but I will certainly continue to ask Him to bless you, your family, and your doctors and for you to receive good news tomorrow and to recover quickly. That's pretty much all my prayers have been for the past week or so. And I know people all over are doing the same exact thing. I hope you take some comfort in knowing just how many people care so much about you and are praying for you. You are an inspiration to all of us. I'm so proud of how you're handling all of this (and that George Lopez is your favorite show!!-Que fantastico!).
Hope tonight is a restful one for you and your folks. Thanks for keeping us updated.
    Love to you all,
Senora Negro, tu profesora favorita de espanol

  8. Hey guys, I hope things are getting better. Cooper must be happy about the snow, (who isn't?). Tell Cooper that if it snows enough that I'll save a snowball for him. I hope that you will have a restful day.
