They have taken Cooper to surgery to drain off the fluid and relieve the pressure. Dr. was not yet sure what type of shunt or drain he would use until he got in.

Cooper's Story

- Cooper is our 14 year old son who was diagnosed in December 2008 with anaplastic ependymoma, a cancerous tumor in his brain. He has undergone two brain surgeries, two cyles of chemo therapy, had a VP shunt inserted, and six weeks of radiation therapy. He is receiving treatment from the wonderful professionals at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
We are praying! We are asking our guardian angels to come to the side of yours....they will do these things for us, you know! And I will be asking St. George and the other Holy Helpers who came to Liam's aid to come to you now. May God hold you all and give you relief from pain and strength to heal.
