post op

Cooper is back!

After two weeks of headaches, nausea and vomiting -Cooper is back to feeling like himself.

After being brought back to his room he has not been asleep, has not become nauseated, not taken any pain meds.

He has logged on to the computer, texted his friends, had a couple of visitors, eaten spaghettios, and drank Dr Pepper.

He said the incision sites are a little sore but that's all and is ready to go home.

He is such a champ.

with thankful hearts,
rsc

  5. Wow, Cooper, way to mix things up a little!!! I'm glad the shunt thing went well. So it starts in your head and goes into your abdomen---very wild!! Have you ever seen people on tv or youtube squirt milk out their eye? (google it--very fascinating). Maybe you can do a party trick or two with the shunt. Just a thought... Most of all, I'm so glad to hear you're not hurting anymore. you poor guy. I hate it that you have been so sick. Happy you're feeling better. If you're texting, that's a good sign!! Hang in there.
We love ya and miss ya!
